Eligibility Criteria
This is a departmental exam open only to Assistant Section Officers (ASO) of the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat meeting the following criteria:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree/Graduation in any subject from a recognized University.
Service Conditions
- Minimum 05 years of regular service in the grade of ASO.
- Possessing at least five “Very Good” consecutive APAR grading for the last 05 years.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Written Examination followed by a Viva-Voce.

How to Apply
- Download the Application Form from the APPSC website: https://appsc.gov.in.
- Fill in the application form completely.
- The application must be recommended and nominated by the Cadre Controlling Authority, including details of APAR grading for the last five consecutive years.
- Enclose all required documents as listed in the notification.
- The duly nominated application must be submitted to the office of APPSC on or before 30th October 2025 (Thursday) by 3:00 PM through the Cadre Controlling Authority.
Application Fee
- APST Candidates: ₹150/-
- Other Candidates: ₹200/-
- The fee must be paid via Treasury Challan payable to Secretary, APPSC, Itanagar under Head of Account – 0051, 102 – State PSC.
