Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (A or B)
- (A) Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject. Candidates must also have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or a similar test like SET. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations are exempted from NET/SET.
- OR
- (B) Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of Residence in Goa.
- Knowledge of Konkani. (Knowledge of Marathi is desirable).
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a walk-in interview. Only candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications and essential conditions will be allowed to appear for the interview.
How to Apply
- Eligible candidates must register their names at the office of the Assistant Registrar (Teaching), Administrative Office, Goa University, half an hour before the scheduled interview time.
- At the time of registration, submit an application on plain paper addressed to the Registrar, Goa University.
- The application must include bio-data and self-attested copies of a valid caste certificate, valid residence certificate, and certificates related to educational qualifications.
- Candidates must produce original certificates for verification during the interview.
