Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination.
• Must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy (Dip.Pharma) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized university.
• Must be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Pharmacy Council.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

• Upper age limit: 42 years.
• SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates: 5 years relaxation.
• Ex-service Men: 3 years relaxation (in addition to service length).
• Differently abled persons: 10 years relaxation.
• The maximum age limit with all relaxations is 52 years.

Selection Process

Selection is based on merit out of a total of 100 marks. The criteria are as follows:

1. 75 marks: Aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Dip.Pharma / B.Pharma).
2. Up to 10 marks: For years of experience after acquiring the requisite qualification (1 mark per completed year).
3. Up to 15 marks: Weightage for contract employment in Tribal (2.5 marks/6 months), Rural (2.0 marks/6 months), Urban (1.0 mark/6 months), and COVID-19 duties.

• For OC candidates: Rs. 500/-
• For SC/ST/BC/Physically Challenged candidates: Rs. 300/-
• Fee must be paid via Demand Draft (DD) in favor of “Regional Director of Medical & Health Services, Rajamahendravaram”.
